Sudanese Community Center

The Sudanese Community Center in Israel was founded in 2020, during the Covid-19 outbreak, due to the significant deterioration in the economic and social conditions of the Sudanese community members.

Our organization seeks to be a central body providing personal and community responses to those who have experienced the loss of personal and family connections, who have been deprived of their home and their right to freedom, equality, and security in their homeland.

We serve as a support center for the needs of the community and its members in Israel.

Our Mission

Founded by individuals from within the asylum seeker community, our organization is uniquely positioned to address the specific needs of our peers in Israel. We offer an insider's perspective on the challenges faced by asylum seekers, delivering tailored welfare services, psychological support for trauma survivors, legal assistance and much more.

Our educational and cultural initiatives not only aim to preserve our rich heritage but also to enhance the active contribution of asylum seekers to the broader society. Emphasizing the importance of community-driven solutions, we are committed to creating a supportive environment where each member can achieve personal growth and stability.
